Excerpt from The Fifth Floor's Sequel "The TV was turned off and my bedroom door creaked open and then closed as Bridg left. I woke for those few seconds, feeling empty and alone. I figured Bridg felt the same when I drifted off to sleep. For three months the two of us were separated by ten miles, Bridg at home and I on the fifth floor. Today we were separated by bedrooms less than ten steps apart, and yet the distance between us felt far worse."
